1. The ‘Unite 2011’ Promotional Competition is organised by the South African Rugby Union and/or their designated affiliates and agencies (hereinafter referred to collectively as the Organisers).
2. The Promotional Competition is open to residents and citizens of South Africa who are 18 years and older (unless specified otherwise in subsections below), except full–time employees and immediate family members of any full–time employees of the Organisers, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and their affiliates and/or associated companies.
3. By entering the Promotional Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Organisers, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Organisers reserve the right to amend, modify or change these rules at any time during the Promotional Competition.
4. All participants that register on the website www.unite2011.co.za or Facebook/Springboks with the necessary prescribed information required, will be eligible to enter all the competitions that are made available through the site. Any participant who is already a signed up Supporter, need only sign in to enter.
5. The Promotional Competition shall commence on 1 June 2011 and end-dates for each promotion element are listed below.
6. RE-UNITE
6.1 All entrants into the Re-Unite competition will be drawn via lucky draw on 5 August 2011 at 12pm. The winner will be announced on the SuperSport ‘Road to New Zealand’ programme on 9 August between 18:30 and 20:30.
6.2 The winning entrant will be able to select any of people he/she entered to Re-Unite with, as his/her selected partner. Should the winner be under the age of 18 years, the accompanying partner must be 18 years or older and the parent/legal guardian of the minor. Both entrant and selected partner must be able to take leave or be available for the prize promotion dates detailed below.
6.3 The prize will consist of the following for the winner and his/her partner. Economy class tickets from any major airport to arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa in time to depart to Wellington on 8th September to arrive 9 September 2011. All transfers to and from the airport, hotels and matches will be supplied. 10 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation in a 4/3 star or equivalent hotel in Wellington and Rotorua, official merchandise and an exclusive opportunity to meet members of the Springbok team. R10,000 (ten thousand rand) spending money will be given to the winner for all incidental purchases, meals and beverages not covered by accommodation and any other costs for telephone, internet and of any personal nature not mentioned here.
6.4 Participants will need to be in possession of a valid Passport for themselves and their accompanying partner, with more than 6 months before the expiry date and 2 page free for passport control. South African Citizens do not require New Zeland short stay visa’s. If a visa for either South Africa or New Zealand is required, the responsibility and costs remain the responsibility of the Entrant and selected partner
6.5 This prize is open to Springbok fans worldwide.
6.6 The winning entrants will be asked to ‘blog’ their experiences and 10 day trip to the facebook/Springboks site – assistance will be supplied in developing content and posting of material by SARU.
7. YOUR NAME AT THE GAME
7.1 All entrants who submit their name for the online jersey through either the website, facebook or our dedicated SMS line (33512 costs R1.50/sms, free SMS’s do not apply) will be collected for printing on the jersey.
7.2 On 31 August 2011, all entries received will be printed onto the jersey that will be sent to the team in New Zealand.
7.3 On 9th September, all entries received will be entered into a lucky draw for the prize of the Signed Springbok Jersey. The winner will be notified by SARU on 9September 2011.
8. RETAIL PROMOTIONS
8.1 Retail promotions are planned and updated details will be supplied once these elements are confirmed.
9. The judge's or supervisor's decision regarding winners shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
10. The Organisers reserve the right to change or amend the promotion prize for any justifiable reason or situation out of their control and replace with a prize of similar value.
11. No prizes listed in these Terms and Conditions are transferrable, nor can be changed or amended in any way or exchanged for cash.
12. All participants, indemnify the Organisers, their advertising agencies, advisers or affiliates against all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Promotional Competition (including, as result of any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Organisers).
13. The Organisers may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Organisers to ensure compliance with these rules. Should any winner be found not to have complied with these rules he/she shall be automatically disqualified.
14. The Organisers may require the winners and/or their chosen friends and/or family members (at no fee) to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and participating in this Promotional Competition, the participants consent thereto.
15. All participants agree and consent to their names and photographs being posted on any of the participating Organiser's websites or other relevant social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter in the event that their entry is chosen as a winning entry.
16. The Organisers shall have the right to use any photographs of the winners and their chosen friends and/or family members in perpetuity.
17. The winners shall be required to indemnify the Organisers for any damages or loss they may suffer as a result of winning of the Prizes, howsoever caused and of whatever nature.
